“Excellent mentoring, curated speakers and well-researched topics apt for the current trends. I learnt about professional career challenges at work faced by women and how some of our mentors successfully navigated their careers and found their voice”

"I'd like to think that I am someone who also is able to speak up for what I believe in. I think sometimes being a female in the sector, it can be more difficult”

“I mean, that's one of the reasons why I joined the VOICES program because it was all about empowering women, but also young women, and teaching, and sharing skills that are really important that aren't always covered by school”

“The longer you've been like an, a working adult, it gets harder and harder, I think, to be able to still channel your authentic self. I think sometimes I do fail like, Oh, maybe in this meeting, I should just sit and listen and maybe I don't need to add some of my ideas, but it's just constantly reminding yourself, like you're meant to be there, your ideas of good, don't be afraid to share them. Like, there is no such thing as a silly question and actually maybe your idea might be really great. It might not be the right time to action it. That doesn't mean you shouldn't share it”

"I think you should always be setting aside time for your own development, even if work is busy, like investing in yourself is important. I remember I signed up for it, I looked at the topics and they, like, I think what stood out for me with Voices is the talk, the topics that you guys were covering. Weren't just like the standard ones you get in others, but you were covering financial literacy. Like I thought that's something that's so important and not enough people talk about or like not enough people think is important. I think that's what kind of drew me to VOICES"

"After I joined my first VOICES workshop, I really liked that it wasn't a webinar. I liked that I could see everyone and talk to people because when you join online webinars, you come a bit faceless and then you'd tune out and then you're doing your work and while you're on the webinar. I liked that VOICES was more interactive and I got to, like, I saw the same faces, so it was nice to like recognize people. Cause that's always really nice when you're like, Oh, I saw you at like the last three sessions. And that was really nice."
